    Help for Individuals

If you have anxiety or have suffered a trauma, I offer EMDR—one of the most highly-researched and successful therapies available today.
EMDR changes lives, and I’m proud to have Level 3 EMDR Certification.

Most of us have been through some traumas in our lives.

Maybe it was a rough upbringing.

Maybe it was a getting out of a terrible relationship.

Maybe it was a sudden, terrifying event.

Maybe you’re not even sure what it was, but you’ve got anxiety chipping away at you, making your life smaller.

This is not how you thought life would feel.
This doesn’t seem to be how other people feel, looking confident and happy as they sail through their days.
But so far, nothing has helped.

Or maybe you haven’t tried the right thing.

    So What is EMDR?

It stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing.

Here’s the gist—and it might sound strange, but there is so much research backing it up, you’d be amazed.

    You come in.

You tell me about what’s going on for you, and what symptoms you want to change.

We work on some self-soothing strategies, until you can use them at will.

Then, through a carefully-guided, non-intrusive process, we work through the issues bothering you…and watch their power over you diminish with each passing week.

As you build resilience, distress fades, and you feel better in your body and mind.

You can finally understand and let go of the pain.

    I know.
    It sounds woo-woo.
But I am the least woo-woo therapist around—and I see this system take people directly to healing that takes years in traditional talk therapy.
For more info about the science, click here, here, or here.

To experience its power directly, call me at 530-830-9079, or email me below.
I will answer all your questions, free of charge, in an initial strategy session.

You owe it to yourself to try what works—

and to move your life in the direction you want it to go.

I look forward to hearing more of your story.

“Megan challenges me and comforts me, she makes me feel heard and seen. She talks to me as a human. I love having her insight on the hard, heavy stuff along with the light and silly.”
